LINEN BABY DOLL JILBAB.........fabric now in stock in Turquoise.
Last Spring 2012 we introduced our linen baby doll( high waist) jilbab in linen and it was a immediate hit. Inshaa Allah this year we plan to offer new colors. Presently, just today, we were able to secure only enough for about 6 jilbabs have opened up the order process online. Hopefully, we will have more colors soon, still on the look out for fabric.
We are now taking orders for the turquoise. Last year we started off with the coral.

As salaamu 'alaykum,
Just a few lines to let you know what we have planned for the upcoming spring and summer seasons.
Last year, I got more calls for cotton garments. So that is one of the first items on the list and something different than what we have done before and different from what you have seen before but more later.
Secondly, everyone enjoyed the linen choices and the photos came out great. Currently, we are on the lookout for linen again. So far looks like the turquoise color we used last year will be available again. I got a call from a supplier and have to do a visit.
Koshibo jilbabs are still requested and I have been sourcing new colors.
Finally, we plan on having new photos in the coming weeks of what we will be offering the coming season.
Thanks so much for your support and check out this window pane print pleat jiblab. It is online but only a few in stock.

WHAT IS BEST FABRIC FOR A JILBAB, SKIRT, TOP, ETC.
We get this question quite often but there is no simple answer. This depends on what you are comfortable with, how you function, where you go, if you are outdoors a lot, seasons etc.
For example, I do not like my clothing to be wrinkled. I would rather be a little warmer than have on wrinkled clothing but then again I do not spend a lot of time outdoors in warmer weather. I do not ride the bus and train a lot. I am mostly in an out of the car.
If you do not mind the wrinkles that comes with wearing cotton or linen which are both natural fabrics, then that is a good choice for you. Ironing is usually required for both. Note that currently many fabrics are being blended or mixed with other fabrics for better wear and care.
Polyesters are not a natural fabric but many garments are made from polyester. Some of our garments like the a-line jilbab are made of polyesters, peachskin and koshibo. The advantage of these is less wrinkling or basically a wash and wear garment. I mostly wear, peachskin, koshibo and crepe(another polyester) pretty much assuring me of a wrinkle free garment and care is also quite easy as they can be washed even in the machine.
In conclusion, if the warmer weather is a serious concern for you, wear linen and cottons which are cooler, natural fabrics and also look into rayon. If you can want more of a care-free garment wear various polyesters or fabrics similar that do not require a lot of care.
